A total of 562 prisoners, including 20 women, have been executed during the presidency of Masoud Pezeshkian

On Monday, December 2, the henchmen of Khamenei hanged four prisoners in Ilam, including two women. The victims were identified as Aliyeh Kavari Zadeh, aged 60, Farideh Jafarzadeh, aged 50, Abdolvahab Babkhanian, aged 60, and Hassan Hassan Beigi, aged 55.

On Sunday, December 1, Farkhondeh Allah Moradi, aged 50, was executed in Isfahan; Mousa Ahmadian in Gorgan; Peyman Zarei, aged 27, in Shiraz; Khodanour Gorgij, aged 31, in Zahedan; Amir Minai, Amir Moradi, aged 35, and two other prisoners were executed in Qezelhessar Prison.

On Wednesday, December 4, Mehdi Hosseinizahi, aged 25, was executed in Zahedan. On Tuesday, December 3, Sadegh Assadi in Yasuj and Hassan Sa’adati in Rasht were hanged.

On Saturday, November 30, Ahmad Shahbakhsh, aged 33, was executed in Zahedan. On Thursday, November 28, in addition to the six prisoners previously reported, Kamran Hemmati in Arak, Rahim Esmailpour, aged 33, and Esmail Barkzai, aged 18, were hanged in Yazd. Esmail Barkzai was only 16 years old at the time of his arrest and the alleged crime.

Thus, since the beginning of Massoud Pezeshkian’s presidency in late July, at least 562 prisoners, including 20 women, have been executed.

In a desperate attempt to contain the crises engulfing his regime and in fear of popular uprisings, Ali Khamenei continues to rely on intensified repression and executions. However, this unrelenting bloodshed only fuels the people’s fury and strengthens the resolve of rebellious youth to overthrow the regime.

The Iranian Resistance calls on the United Nations, human rights organizations, women’s rights organizations, and children’s rights advocates to condemn the escalating executions in Iran, particularly the executions of women and children, and to take immediate action to halt this brutality and barbarism.
