A Desperate Attempt to Break the Resistance of Political Prisoners and Silence Their Righteous Voices

On Saturday, December 27, 2025, Allah Karam Azizi, the head of Qezelhesar Prison, informed Saeed Masouri, one of Iran’s longest-serving political prisoners, that he has been banned from receiving visitors by order of the prosecutor. Mr. Masouri has been imprisoned for 25 years without a single day of medical leave.

Through these repressive measures, the mullahs’ regime is desperately trying to break the resistance of political prisoners and silence their righteous voices. In a message from July 2025, Saeed Masouri declared: ‘As a political prisoner and a supporter of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK)… and inspired by the eternal message of Imam Hussein, I want to clarify that… we will never retreat a single step on the path to freedom and liberty in the face of imprisonment, exile, and execution.’
