Terrified of being overthrown and struggling for survival, the regime has become unbridled, resorting to successive arrests and executions

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has published the names of several additional arrestees, which have also been submitted to the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran and international human rights organizations. These individuals are accused of communicating with and supporting the PMOI. On the orders of Gholamhossein Eje’i, the head of the regime’s judiciary, pressure and torture on political prisoners have escalated. It is an urgent necessity for United Nations representatives, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Special Rapporteur on Iran, and the International Fact-Finding Mission to visit these prisoners and inquire about their conditions.
