On Friday evening, July 30, 2021, in the third week of the uprising, the people of Tehran and many other cities took to the streets and called to overthrow the religious fascism ruling Iran. The protesters chanted, “Tanks, Guns, Khamenei must die,” “The leader (Khamenei) is a shame for us,” “Death to the Supreme Leader for all these years crimes,” “Death to the dictator” and “Neither Gaza nor Lebanon, I give my life for Iran.”

In the early hours of Saturday, July 31, after a football match, when Narmak (northeast Tehran) youths took to the streets and chanted “Death to the dictator,” they were attacked by the State Security Force (SSF), and many demonstrators were arrested.

In Tehranpars (northeast Tehran), the rebellious youths set fire on the street (to block access by the SSF). They protested against the regime, chanting, “Death to the principle of Velayat-e-Faqih (absolute clerical rule).” The SSF closed Tehran’s Sadeghi Square (one of the hotbeds of protests in Tehran) in fear of widespread protests.

At the same time, defiant youths in Baharestan (Tehran Province) staged demonstrations on Friday evening, which lasted until the early hours of Saturday morning.

In Ahvaz, defiant youths rallied using the slogan, “This is our last word; our target is the entire regime.” Also, in Shooshtar, the rebellious youths blocked the road and staged a demonstration against the regime.
