In parallel with the prosecution of the supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) and sentencing some of them to execution, the mullahs’ regime has launched a new wave of arrests targeting families, relatives, and supporters of the PMOI in various cities.
The names and details of the detainees have been submitted to international bodies. The following seven individuals are among them:
- Mohammad Ali Mehreganfar, 66 years old, from Zarqan, Fars Province, a political prisoner in the 1980s
- Hoda Mehreganfar, daughter of Mohammad Ali, 35 years old, robotics engineer
- Akbar Bagheri, 55 years old, from Kermanshah, political prisoner from 2017 to 2023
- Morteza Rahmani, 47 years old, from Tehran
- Reza Ashoorzadeh, 53 years old, from Tehran
- Rouhollah Eskandari, 38 years old, from Shiraz
- Hakimeh Honarmandi, mother of Rouhollah Eskandari, from Shiraz
