Chinese investment in Iran sharply declines

NCRI – An official of Iranian regime’s chamber of commerce has said that the Chinese investments in Iran has sharply declined and reached $400 million dollars from $3 billion in 2011-2012.

Assadullah Asgarolladi, the head of Iran and China Chamber of Commerce said: “Until two years ago the Chinese investments in Iran reached to 3 billion dollars but in year 2013 it has reached to 400 millions.”

He said that oil importing countries would only by our oil under the condition that they could pay for it with their domestic products, state-run news agency ISNA reported.

Asgarolladi, whose comments were published in Asr-e Iran Daily on Friday, March 15, on the prospect of the economic conditions in the next Iranian year starting March 20 said that we will be having a difficult time.
