Yemen Houthi Rebels Say US Strikes Kill 2; Trump’s Bombing Video Suggests Higher Overall Death Toll

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Suspected U.S. airstrikes killed at least two people overnight in a stronghold of Yemen’s Houthi rebels, the group said Sunday, while a bombing video posted by U.S. President Donald Trump suggested casualties in the overall campaign may be higher than the rebels acknowledge.

The strikes in Saada killed two people and wounded nine others, with footage aired by the Houthis’ al-Masirah satellite news channel showing a strike collapsing what appeared to be a two-story building. The Iranian-backed Houthis aired no footage from inside the building, which they described as a solar power shop.

The intense campaign of airstrikes in Yemen under Trump targeting the rebels over their attacks on shipping in Mideast waters stemming from the Israel-Hamas war has killed at least 69 people, according to casualty figures released by the Houthis.

PMOI Resistance Units in Zahedan Defy Regime Oppression with Messages of Uprising

In a bold act of defiance amidst severe repression, PMOI Resistance Units in the city of Zahedan carried out a daring campaign by distributing and posting large-scale leaflets and banners containing revolutionary slogans across public areas and near Friday prayers gatherings. This action directly challenged the tight security grip imposed by the Iranian regime, particularly in the marginalized and heavily monitored region of Sistan and Baluchestan.

Despite the intense security measures and surveillance, the Resistance Units succeeded in spreading their message to the public with powerful and direct slogans that reflect the collective consciousness and revolutionary resolve of the Iranian people.

The Mullah’s Demonization Campaign Laid Bare

townhall-logo

The Iranian regime’s fundamentalist Shia mullahs hate many things. They hate Israel, they hate America. They hate Saudi Arabia. But most of all, they hate the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK), their main democratic opposition movement, whom they describe as ‘monofin’ or ‘hypocrites’. Over 46 years since they hijacked the 1979 revolution and seized power, the mullahs have single-handedly murdered tens of thousands of MEK members and supporters.

In 1988, in one of the worst atrocities in Iranian history, they massacred over 30,000 in the course of a few months, based on a fatwa decreed by the psychopathic Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. The Islamic Republic’s constitution declares that support for the MEK amounts to “waging war against God” and carries the mandatory death penalty.

IRGC’s Water Mafia under Fire as Isfahan’s Farmers Demand Their Rightful Share

Farmers in Isfahan, central Iran, continued their protest for water rights on April 4, 2025

On April 3 and 4, 2025, exasperated farmers in Isfahan, deprived of their necessary water rights during the planting season, took to the streets in dense crowds to reclaim their water share and the Zayandeh Rud river, plundered by the regime and its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

They chanted slogans such as “Zayandeh Rud’s water is our undeniable right,” “Let Isfahan breathe, give back Zayandeh Rud!” and shouted: “If the river doesn’t flow, Isfahan will face judgment day.” “We will take our water rights, even if we die,” “We have seen no justice, only heard lies.”

In the preceding days, scenes of the regime’s repressive forces trying to quell the farmers’ protests turned into confrontations due to the farmers’ resistance. Images of the regime’s well-equipped special forces fleeing from the onslaught of the protesting farmers circulated widely on social media.

Syria, Hezbollah, and Iran’s Regime Obstructed Lebanese Reconciliation for Years

Coinciding with the visit of Morgan Ortagus, Deputy U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Affairs, to Lebanon and her meetings with Lebanese officials, Sami Gemayel, leader of the Lebanese Kataeb Party, declared that the disarmament of Hezbollah is no longer open for discussion.

Report on the Situation of Political Prisoners Sentenced to Death in Iran – Part 9

Political prisoners in Iran languish under the weight of death sentences, torture, and unjust trials—individuals whose voices have been silenced within the cold, dark cells of Evin Prison. Ali-Akbar (Shahrokh) Daneshvarkar, one such prisoner, alongside five others, was sentenced to death in December 2024 (December 1, 2024). These individuals are victims of a system that has replaced justice with coerced confessions extracted under torture and sham trials. Reports from human rights organizations, including Amnesty International, indicate that these sentences are not only a flagrant violation of human rights but also part of an escalating wave of executions aimed at suppressing political dissent in Iran. This report narrates the story of Shahrokh and his fellow prisoners, serving as a desperate call to save their lives.
