US Strikes Iranian Nuclear Facilities On 10th Day of Conflicts Between Israel and Iran
The conflict between Iran and Israel entered a new phase on its tenth day, Sunday, June 22, as the United States launched direct military strikes against Iran’s primary nuclear facilities.
Iran’s regime vowed retaliation and international leaders called urgently for de-escalation, while continued attacks were reported on both sides.
In a televised address from the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that American forces had conducted strikes on Iran’s three principal nuclear sites: Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow. He called the operation a “spectacular military success,” claiming Iran’s key uranium enrichment facilities “have been completely and totally obliterated” (Reuters, Axios). Trump warned Iran that its future held “either peace or tragedy” and that many other targets could be hit if Tehran did not agree to peace talks quickly (Reuters).
Widowed Women in Iran: Main Problems and Challenges
In the Iranian legal system, where gender-based discrimination is deeply entrenched, women are not recognized as heads of household. As a result, when a woman becomes a widow, she is not only burdened with the emotional weight of her loss, but is also thrust into a web of economic, social, and legal challenges. In this context, widowhood becomes more than a personal tragedy—it is treated as a social stigma.
Widowed women are often marginalized and excluded from full participation in society. They face a host of legal obstacles, particularly in areas such as inheritance, child custody, property ownership, and access to insurance. The legal framework is overwhelmingly designed in favor of men, leaving widows vulnerable to systemic injustice and discrimination.
Massive Iranian Resistance Rallies in Berlin and Stockholm Back Democratic Change — No to Shah, No to Mullahs
On June 21, 2025, tens of thousands of Iranians took to the streets in Berlin and Stockholm, demonstrating their unwavering support for regime change through the organized resistance movement led by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK). The rallies powerfully echoed the NCRI’s proposed “Third Option”: democratic change by the people of Iran, rejecting both war and appeasement.
Mohammad Saeed Izadi, Quds Force Commander, Reportedly Killed in Israel Strikes Against Iran
On the morning of Saturday, June 21, Israeli Air Force targeted an apartment in a building in the Salarieh neighborhood of Qom. Reports indicate that the strike left at least two people dead.
A few hours later, Israel’s Defense Minister Yoav Gallant claimed that the target of the attack was Mohammad Saeed Izadi, commander of the Quds Force’s Palestine branch, who was known by the alias “Haj Ramadan.” On September 10, 2019, the U.S. Treasury Department designated him as “one of the leaders of terrorist groups.”
Iran’s regime has not yet confirmed or denied the news, but if Tehran confirms Izadi’s death, he would be the first IRGC commander killed in the ongoing conflict. Israel claims he was targeted due to his direct role in arming Hamas for its attack against Israel.
Iranian Resistance Leader: ‘Khamenei Must Go’ After U.S. Strikes Regime Nuclear Sites
Following U.S. airstrikes targeting Iran’s key nuclear facilities, Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the Iranian opposition group National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), declared, “Now Khamenei must go.” She added, “The Iranian people welcome the end of the war and seek peace and freedom.”
On Sunday, Rajavi delivered a sharp rebuke of the regime, calling for sweeping change and blaming the Supreme Leader for years of costly miscalculations that have pushed the nation into crisis, driven by a now-destroyed nuclear weapons program pursued at the Iranian people’s expense.
