NUMBER OF VICTIMS (AS OF MARCH 30, 2020, 6:00 PM CET):

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) announced this afternoon, March 30, 2020, that Coronavirus has taken the lives of more than 14,200 in 236 cities across Iran.

Coronavirus Crisis in Iran

The number of victims in Ardebil is 400, in Alborz 600, in Chaharmahal Bakhtiari 38, Khorasan Razavi 1120, North Khorasan 190, Zanjan 250, Gilan 1370 and in Yazd is 305. This is in addition to the figures in other provinces.

Fighting the coronavirus and the mullahs in Iran is now a same fight in Iran. The Iranian people and Iranian opposition group PMOI/MEK network members say.

Rebellion in Iran prisons- Mahabad prisonOn Saturday night, March 28, 2020, prisoners in the Mahabad Central Prison rebelled and fled in protest against the mullahs’ mismanagement in dealing with the Coronavirus outbreak. The suppressive forces fired on prisoners, killing or wounding some prisoners, as parts of the prison were set on fire. The sound of gunshots and sirens was heard until well after the dark. Ali Akbar Grossi, Regime’s notorious prosecutor in West Azerbaijan, trying to prevent the spread of rebellion to other prisons in the province, claimed, “Thanks to the vigilance of prison guards, and inmates not joining the fugitives, calm restored very quickly.” “Prisoners benefit from all the facilities they need,” he insisted.

Defiant youth in Tehran targeted a center of the suppressive forces in Tehran’s Sohrevardi Street on Saturday evening, March 28, 2020. This is while the regime’s security forces are on full alert to prevent the outbreak of any protest under the pretext of combating Coronavirus.

The same day, defiant youth also set fire to one of the main centers of plunder of people’s wealth, Khomeini’s so-called Relief Committee in the city of Qom.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI / MEK) announced this afternoon, March 29, 2020, that the death toll for Coronavirus has risen to 13,600 in 232 cities across Iran. The number of victims in Ardabil has increased to 235, Tehran 1800, Qom 1480, Khuzestan 610, Lorestan 360, Zanjan 220, and in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad 90.

WHAT ARE THE IRAN PROTESTS OF 2019?

Monday, March 30, 2020, marks the 137th day since the beginning of the nationwide Iran protests.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) has identified 755 of the more than 1500 protesters killed by the regime so far.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) has called on the United Nations to urgently send an international fact-finding mission to Iranian prisons to meet with the detainees.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE UPRISING:

Number of martyrs: At least 1500
