Iran: Committing suicide to protest against regime’s policies

Two men of ages 42 from the city of Shahr-e Kord committed suicide on Sunday, October 13 outside the governor’s building to show their objections towards the government’s actions that resulted in their bankruptcy.

The two men identified as Reza and Mohammad Nadaf were cousins and partners in a trade and were engaged in the export of rocks for years.

They were always bothered by the government for their political stance and their export was confiscated in customs for a year causing their bankruptcy.

A 26 year-old youth also committed suicide by hanging himself in a city near Kermanshah due to poverty and economic problems.
