NCRI – Construction workers have staged a protest after being asked to sign a blank sheet of paper as their employment contract.
A manager is reported to have told the labourers working for the Kolham construction company in the western city of Paveh: “Whoever intends to work must sign these blank sheets.”
The men hired to build a dam in the area refused to sign and quit the premises in anger, it was reported on Saturday.
Kolham employs around 1,200 workers and is a private company.
