Iranian regime’s agents attack Ashraf residents with petrol bomb

Assault on Ashraf – No. 6

Number of wounded reaches 175 including 83 women
Call on U.S. and UN to protect Ashraf residents

The Iranian regime’s agents attacking Ashraf Friday evening injured a number of residents by petrol bombs. A number of residents were injured due to explosions. Based on the latest reports, the number of injuries reaches 175, including 83 women.

The Iraqi forces, in a criminal act and a clear example of war crime, forced the wounded out of hospital and prevented their treatment.

Today’s criminal aggression against Ashraf leaves no doubt that the Iraqi forces do not intend and have no competence to protect Ashraf and is planning the killing of the residents and to create a humanitarian catastrophe in the camp. This is in pursuance of a dictated policy by the Iranian regime. Therefore, it is the duty of the U.S. forces and the United Nations to assume the protection of Ashraf residents immediately.
