Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 458 Cities Exceeds 124,000

Coronavirus update in Iran - October 15, 2020

Twenty million Iranians with underlying medical conditions are at high risk of contracting Coronavirus

  • Member of the Board of the regime parliament’s Health Commission: It seems that the number of deaths is much higher than what is stated. If we continue the method of the past eight months, not only will we have the fourth peak of the outbreak, but also the fifth, sixth, seventh, and so on. (ILNA news agency, October 15, 2020)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on October 15, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 458 cities had exceeded 124,000. The number of victims in Tehran is 29,691, Khorasan Razavi 9,310, Khuzestan 7,913, Isfahan 6,474, Lorestan 5,398, Qom 5,265, East Azerbaijan 4,393, Sistan and Baluchestan 3,526, West Azerbaijan 3,442, Alborz 3,388, Hamedan 3,293, Kermanshah 2,708, North Khorasan 2,134, Kerman 1,893, Central Province 1,687, Hormozgan 1,615, Bushehr 1,485, Ilam 1,024, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 942, and South Khorasan 914.
