Facing expanding popular protests, the clerical regime has intensified repression and killings, setting an unprecedented record in executions.

On Monday morning, June 6, Khamenei’s henchmen mass executed 12 prisoners, including a woman, in Zahedan Central Prison. Before that, three prisoners were hanged in Dastgerd prison in Isfahan on May 28, 29, and 30, and another prisoner in Zanjan on May 29. Thus, during the past 16 days, dozens of prisoners have been executed.

The Iranian Resistance urges the United Nations and other human rights organizations and the European Union and its member states to condemn the executions in Iran and take urgent action to save the lives of thousands of death row prisoners. The dossier for the clerical regime’s human rights violations must be referred to the United Nations Security Council, and its officials must face justice for four decades of crimes against humanity.
