Iranians Abroad Condemn Regime’s Atrocities Call For Raisi Being Banned From UN

These demonstrators and voiced support for recent protests in Iran over severe water shortages and hailed the PMOI/MEK’s network of “Resistance Units” inside Iran.

Plaintiff and Son of an IRGC Member in Soada’s Case Threatens To Kill Her if Released

Soada Khadirzadeh was threatened with murder by the plaintiff in her case when attending her first trial. Soada’s lawyer has withdrawn from representing this political prisoner, who is imprisoned in Urmia Prison.

Soada Khadirzadeh’s trial was held online on August 24, 2022, at Branch 3 of Mahabad’s Criminal Court. Soada, her lawyer, and the plaintiffs were in attendance. An informed source said the charge brought against Soada Khadirzadeh was taking part in murder as the main accomplice and membership in a Kurdish party.

More People Are Committing Suicide in Iran as Economic Pressure Mounts

According to a report by the World Health Organization (WHO), 800,000 people die by suicide every year, one person every 40 seconds, and 2,190 people die every day. In this report, however, the number of people who think about suicide (an important part of investigating the phenomenon of suicide and taking preventive measures for it) and did not act for a reason, which could be millions more, is not known.

According to Maryam Abbasi Nejad, in charge of the “suicide prevention” program in Iran’s Ministry of Health, about 100,000 suicides were registered in the country in 2017, and the number of suicides is higher in the west of the country.
