Maryam Rajavi urges the UN
human rights defenders, Europe and the US to take urgent action to save the lives of death row prisoners in Iran
In a heinous crime, the clerical regime executed Baluchi political prisoner Javid Dehghan despite international outcry. This is the 8th execution in a week by a regime that cannot survive in the face of the Iranian people’s fury without torture and execution.
This clerical regime in Iran is a disgrace to humanity and must be rejected by the world community.

Iran: Creditors of state-backed financial institution resume protests
A group of creditors who had invested in Caspian Credit Institution gathered in front of the Financial settlement committee building on Thursday, January 28 in protest to not receiving their overdue payments.
Four years have passed since this government-backed institution has looted the people’s wealth under an official, government-approved license. Since then, the institution’s customers have been regularly protesting, demanding the company and the government to take action and restore their funds. But in a collusion between Caspian and the government, the regime’s broadcasting apparatus has announced that only 542 cases remain to be settled.
Iranians Continue Protests; at Least Three Rallies and Strikes on January 29
On Friday, January 29, the impoverished people of Iran continued their protests against the government and its institutions’ economic failures and wrong policies. In this context, Iranian citizens held at least three rallies and strikes in two cities.
Car customers in Isfahan city, and municipal workers and automaking company staff in Tabriz held these protests. They blamed government-linked individuals for looting their money and failing to keep their promises.

Iran’s Terrorist-Diplomat, Assadollah Assadi, Led a Large Espionage & Terrorism Network in EU
New information raises new concerns about the case of Mohamad Javad Zarif’s incarcerated diplomat-terrorist Assadollah Assadi. The information suggests the mullahs’ network of espionage and terrorism is much wider in Europe than it appears.
Assadi was arrested in July 2018 after delivering a bomb to a terrorist couple, Nasimeh Na’ami and Amir Saadouni, in Luxembourg and tasking them to plant the bomb in the “Free Iran” gathering of the Iranian opposition in Villepinte, north of Paris, France.

Iran’s terror machine in Europe is an iceberg. And we’ve only seen the tip
Next week, a court in Antwerp, Belgium, will decide on the case of Assadollah Assadi, a career Iranian diplomat who plotted a bombing attack against a major gathering of Iranian dissidents in France in 2018. The attack was foiled by European authorities, and Assadi was arrested along with his co-conspirators.
This case and the details that have cropped up during the trial and investigation speak volumes about the Iranian regime’s terror-based foreign policy and the threat it poses to global peace and security. It also highlights the failure of a policy centered on containing Tehran’s malign behavior through continuous concessions and letting it get away with crimes and violations of international norms and values.
Iran uses COVID-19 to prevent protests
The Iranian regime has done nothing to stop the spread of COVID-19 in Iran and has banned certified vaccines that would prevent more deaths. Many believe the regime is using the virus to prevent protests.
Women, mothers with quarter-century sentences in a hell called Qarchak
Qarchak Prison is the place for detention of at least 2,000 female inmates, but it does not resemble a living quarters for human beings.
Political prisoner Golrokh Iraee described Qarchak as the following: “Life does not flow in Qarchak Prison.” And this is all one could say about it. Other political prisoners have also written about the abysmal conditions in this notorious prison after they were released.
Two Executions in One day in Iran
Iranian authorities hanged two inmates at dawn on Thursday, January 28. The executed prisoners were Anvar Narouei, an Iranian Baluch, and political prisoner Ali Motiri. They were executed in Isfahan’s Dastgerd Prison, central Iran, and Ahvaz’s Sheiban Prison in the southwestern province of Khuzestan, respectively.
