Three Iranian Bahai citizens sentenced to prison for following outlawed faith
A Tehran Revolutionary court sentenced three Bahai citizens to four years and three months of prison each on January 29.
According to the Human Rights News Agency, the three men and women were identified as Mahvash Edalati Abadi, Sepideh Keshavarz, and Farid Esmaeli.
The 28th Branch of the Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Mohammedreza Amouzad sentenced each of the Bahai citizens to three years and seven months of prison for “gathering and conspiring against the state by managing a Bahai organization” and eight months for “acting against national security by promoting the Bahai faith”.

Express: Iranian spy chief behind bomb plot in Paris ‘had contacts all over Europe’
A green notebook, found in Assadollah Assadi’s car when he was arrested in Germany, meticulously detailed 289 places across 11 European countries where he is believed to have made contact with agents of the regime. Assad – who faces being jailed for up to 20 years on Thursday – was acting as a diplomat in Vienna when he is accused of personally transporting 500g of “mother of Satan” TATP explosives for an planned 2018 attack on the Free Iran political rally in Paris, hosted by pro-democracy group National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

Protest by Teachers and Instructors of Iran’s Literacy Movement in Tehran
and instructors of Iran’s literacy movement gathered in front of the regime’s Parliament today. The teachers’ protest is simultaneous with the examination of their employment status plan by the regime’s parliament.
“At the beginning of our work, we were told that after 2 years of working in the literacy movement, we would be hired by the Ministry of Education, but now, after 10 to 15 years, we are still not hired. They keep us behind the ‘examination’ barrier,” said one of the protesting teachers.
Iran: 40 Villages Surrounded by Snow and Blizzard
Due to snow and blizzard, the communication road of 40 villages of East Azerbaijan province has closed and this area is surrounded by snow and blizzard.
According to the head of the Rescue Organization of Iran, 22 provinces of Hamedan, Markazi, Mazandaran, Lorestan, Gilan, Golestan, Kermanshah, Kurdistan, Semnan, Qazvin, Zanjan, Khuzestan, Khorasan Razavi and Shamai, Chaharmahal Bakhtiari, Tehran, Ilam, Alborz, Isfahan, Ardabil, West and East Azerbaijan have been affected by snow and blizzards for the past two days.

Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 478 Cities Is More Than 208,700
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, January 30, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 478 cities had exceeded 208,700. The number of victims in Tehran is 50,466, Isfahan 13,260, Khuzestan 10,390, Mazandaran 8,512, East Azerbaijan 7,943, West Azerbaijan 7,678, Fars 6,317, Golestan 5,325, Hamedan 4,918, Kerman 4,634, Kermanshah 4,304, Yazd 3,847, North Khorasan 3,213, Ardabil 2,592, and Qazvin 2,239.
