Iran’s Regime Suffers Two Major Blows in Stockholm and Brussels

Following 92 court sessions in Stockholm through the course of 33 months, former Iranian regime official Hamid Noury was sentenced to life in prison for committing serious crimes against international law and murder during the summer 1988 massacre of over 30,000 political prisoners across the country. Most of the victims were members and supporters of the Iranian opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK).

1,700 Women Summoned for Improper Veiling to Kermanshah’s Police

Some 1,700 women have been called to the province’s police stations for improper veiling since March 2022. The police chief of Kermanshah Province, western Iran, announced during a news conference. Ali Akbar Javidan said more than 22,000 public notices had been given concerning moral security, failing to observe the mandatory Hijab, improper veiling, or falling back on the regime’s dress code in three months and 20 days. Furthermore, 230 vehicles were seized and sent to the parking lot in the province during the same period.

Political Prisoners Hold Sit-in to Gain Their Right to Visitations

The latest reports from Qarchak Prison say political prisoners in that prisoner had held a sit-in protest in solidarity with Zahra Safaei. Political prisoner Zahra Safaei has been deprived of visiting her son for more than three months. Her son, Massoud Moini, is detained in Evin Prison.

According to reports from Qarchak Prison on July 12, political prisoner Zahra Safaei and her daughter, Parastoo Moini, held a sit-in in the prison’s corridor to protest the rejection of their request to have a visit with their son and brother, Massoud Moini.

Three Teacher Activists Kept in Limbo in Tehran Prison

Three Iranian teachers are kept in limbo in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison. Jafar Ebrahimi, Mohammad Habibi, and Rasoul Bodaghi were arrested on April 30 and transferred to Evin’s section 240 known as the Ministry of Intelligence Detention Center.

According to an informed source, Rasoul Bodaghi last spoke to his family on the phone on June 11, and since then, his family has been in the dark about his situation.
