Lebanon Rebukes Iran for Hezbollah ‘More Important Than Bread’ Comments
Lebanon’s top diplomat hit back at an Iranian official who said the Tehran-backed Hezbollah was “more important than daily bread”, at a time when Washington and Tel Aviv are pressing Beirut to disarm the group.
Youssef Raggi said the remarks crossed into territory that Lebanon considers its own, stressing that decisions about the country’s defence cannot be shaped from abroad.
In a message addressed to his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, Raggi, who is a member of the staunchly anti-Hezbollah Lebanese Forces party, wrote on X: “I genuinely wanted to believe that Iran does not interfere in Lebanon’s internal affairs, until your Supreme Leader’s advisor Ali Akbar Velayati came out today to tell us what is truly important in Lebanon and warned us of the consequences of disarming Hezbollah.”
When Will Europe Stop Appeasing Iran?
Just over two years ago, November 9, 2023 began like any other day. By midday, my life had changed forever. I miraculously survived an assassination attempt ordered by the Islamic Republic of Iran. That should have been a turning point in Europe’s policy toward Tehran. I was the first European politician targeted on European soil by Iranian terror. Yet meaningful change in policy remains elusive.
It happened near my home in Madrid. A man approached me from behind, greeted me politely, and raised a pistol to my head. I turned just as he fired. The bullet lodged in my jaw instead of my neck, leaving me in great agony but alive. As the attacker sped away on a motorcycle, I knew at once why I had been targeted.
Before reaching hospital, I told first responders – and later the public – that Tehran was certainly responsible. I had long been on its enemies list for supporting Iranian opposition leader Maryam Rajavi and the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), the coalition of pro-democracy groups advocating a secular, non-nuclear republic. The world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism had branded me an enemy for promoting an alternative to its theocratic dictatorship.

Iranian’s Set Themselves on Fire, A Social Volcano Is Erupting
Iran is reaching a critical breaking point.
Over the past week alone, three young Iranians set themselves on fire in separate provinces — desperate acts that reveal not isolated tragedies, but a nation pushed to the edge. These cases are no longer “personal crises.”
They are unmistakable political alarms. Ahmad Baladi, a 20-year-old student in Khuzestan, burned himself alive after municipal agents destroyed his father’s street stall — the family’s only source of income.
In Sanandaj, 34-year-old firefighter and father of two, Shaho Safari, self-immolated after four months without wages and unbearable economic pressure.
In Lorestan, transportation worker Kourosh Kheiri set himself on fire after being dismissed; he died a week later from severe burns.

Australia Lists Iranian Group as Terrorist Sponsors as Wong Cites ‘Dangerous Acts’
The Australian government has listed the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran as a “state sponsor of terrorism”.
The move comes three months after the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation accused the group of orchestrating two separate arson attacks against Australia’s Jewish Community.
Foreign Minister Penny Wong on Thursday said the attacks were “unprecedented and dangerous acts of aggression orchestrated by a foreign nation on Australian soil”.
“It has no place in Australia,” she said.
“The Albanese Government has taken stronger action on Iran than any previous Australian government and will continue to work to keep Australians safe.”

Iran’s Regime Hikes Gasoline Prices Amidst Fears of Another Uprising
Iran’s regime has once again targeted the people with a deceptive policy designed to plunder what little remains in their pockets. On Tuesday, November 25, the cabinet of regime president Masoud Pezeshkian approved a new scheme that effectively raises the price of gasoline to 50,000 rials (5,000 tomans) per liter for a large portion of the population. While cleverly disguised with complex regulations to avoid immediate backlash, this move is nothing short of a state-sanctioned fraud against a nation already crushed by economic hardship. This decision, born from the regime’s utter economic desperation, is being implemented under the shadow of the November 2019 uprising. The regime’s leaders know they are playing with fire, and their public statements betray a deep-seated fear that this act of theft could once again ignite the flames of a nationwide revolt.
Mahin Rahimi Executed in Vakilabad Prison, Mashhad
At dawn on Wednesday, November 26, the death sentence of Mahin Rahimi, a female prisoner held in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad, was carried out. Mahin Rahimi had previously been convicted of murder and sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary. As of the time of this report, prison authorities and official judicial bodies have not publicly confirmed or announced the execution of Mahin Rahimi. With the execution of Mahin Rahimi in Vakilabad Prison, the number of women executed in Iran since the beginning of 2025 has reached 54, marking an unprecedented record in the execution of women in Iran.

Gothenburg, Sweden – November 25, 2025 – Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) gathered in Gothenburg to mark the 61st consecutive week of local participation in the global “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign. The movement protests the Iranian regime’s escalating wave of executions and systematic repression.
Toronto Rally Calls for an End to Executions and Holding the Iranian Regime Accountable for Its Crimes
Toronto, Canada – November 21, 2025 – Iranian-Canadians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a major rally condemning the Iranian regime’s widespread use of the death penalty, particularly the execution of political prisoners. Freedom-loving Iranians and MEK supporters stressed the urgent need to end all executions in Iran and voiced strong support for the Iranian people’s ongoing resistance against tyranny.
Judges of Death – Part 7
Seyyed Mousa Assef al-Hosseini, the head of Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Karaj, is one of the most well-known figures within the judiciary of the ruling regime in Iran. His name repeatedly appears in cases involving heavy charges, death sentences, the denial of legal defense, fast-tracked and non-public proceedings, and harsh treatment of political defendants. His direct role in issuing death sentences against Mohammad-Mehdi Karami and Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini in December 2022, as well as his handling of the case of 15 detained children and teenagers in Karaj, has made him one of the central symbols of systematic violations of fair-trial standards. During the Karaj protests in November 2022, fifteen children and teenagers were arrested on charges of killing Rouhollah Ajamiān, a member of the Basij force. According to the judiciary’s spokesperson, five defendants were sentenced to death and eleven others—including three minors under 18—received long prison terms. The case was adjudicated at the Alborz Revolutionary Court under the authority of Assef al-Hosseini.
Iran’s Floating Crude Oil Storage Has Increased
Data from Kpler, a global shipping-analytics firm, shows that the volume of Iranian crude stored on floating tankers has reached 52 million barrels, the highest level in two and a half years, indicating falling demand from its main buyer, China. According to Bloomberg, nearly half of this oil is located near Malaysia. The report, published on Tuesday, November 25, stated that this amount is nearly twice the volume stored one month ago and far above the five to 10 million barrels stored on floating tankers in January. The buildup of cargoes has increased the discounts on grades such as Iran’s light crude. Traders familiar with the market—who requested anonymity due to the sensitivity of the dealings—have said that the discount has reached as much as eight dollars below Brent crude, whereas three months earlier it had been about four dollars.
State-Engineered Educational Discrimination Exposed by Iran Regime’s Own Data
A state-run daily unintentionally reveals a deliberate system that privileges elite and loyalist schools while abandoning public education and marginalized provinces. A new report published by the state-run daily Farhikhtegan has inadvertently exposed the depth of state-engineered educational discrimination in Iran. The newspaper’s attempt to analyze academic performance and national exam results instead reveals a structural system designed by the Iranian regime to privilege wealthy and politically connected families while abandoning millions of students in public schools and marginalized provinces. The report notes that among the top thirty students in the 2025 nationwide entrance exam, twenty-three came from NODET (Sampad) elite schools, four from expensive non-profit private schools, and only three from public schools. This disproportionate outcome is not a coincidence.
