Iran’s Youth Target Regime Centers in Response to Executions
In response to the Iranian regime’s repressive actions, which included 11 executions on October 22-23, 2024, and at least 356 executions since Massoud Pezeshkian became president, the rebellious youth of Iran targeted the regime’s symbols and centers of repression, looting, and crime in various cities across the country. The youth’s responses to the Iranian regime on this day, which took place amid heightened security and repressive measures by the government, were as follows:
Shiraz – Explosion at a regime building
Qazvin – Burning down of a counseling center for fundamentalist institutions
Mashhad – Setting fire to three IRGC Basij bases and a Basij base tasked with spying on and suppressing students
Israel Strikes Iran Military Targets, Tehran Says Damage ‘Limited’
DUBAI/JERUSALEM, Oct 26 (Reuters) – Israel struck military sites in Iran early on Saturday, saying it was retaliating against Tehran’s strikes on Israel this month, the latest attack in the escalating conflict between the heavily armed rivals.
Hours later the Israeli military said its strikes had been completed and its objectives achieved, but a semi-official Iranian news agency vowed a “proportional reaction” to Israeli moves against Tehran.
Iranian media reported multiple explosions over several hours in the capital and at nearby military bases, starting shortly after 2 a.m. (2230 GMT on Friday).
Iran’s Economic Crisis Worsens under Pezeshkian
One of the things that has remained consistent across all presidents during the rule of the mullahs is plundering the wealth of the people to keep the regime in power. The regime’s latest president, Massoud Pezeshkian, is sticking to the same game plan, plundering the last remaining public resources to preserve the regime amid domestic and international crises. Internal unrest and fears of unpredictable regional and international developments have paralyzed the regime’s leadership’s decision-making ability. Pezeshkian’s empty promises and unrealistic dreams remain unresolved, leaving him uncertain of what to do. Rampant inflation, liquidity issues, crippling recession, poverty, and unemployment have forced government officials to recycle old tactics and tricks, hoping to find some way to salvage the regime buried under its own ruins.
The Shamkhani Empire: Oil Trade, Sanctions, and an Expansive Global Network
In recent years, Hossein Shamkhani, along with his family, has built an international network of companies to facilitate the sale of Iranian and Russian crude oil. This strategy has empowered the Shamkhanis to circumvent U.S. and European sanctions while becoming influential players in the global energy market. The family’s activities came under fresh scrutiny following a recent report from Bloomberg, which detailed the operations of Ocean Leonid, a London-based oil company directly linked to Shamkhani and the Iranian regime.
Hossein Shamkhani’s business activities operate through a wide network, including companies like Ocean Leonid. Founded in 2018 in London, Ocean Leonid now employs dozens of individuals and plays a critical role in assisting Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in sidestepping Western sanctions. According to Bloomberg, the company deals in the covert sale of Iranian and Russian oil and petrochemical products, using various means to disguise the origins of these goods.

Increasing Imbalance Between Gas Production and Consumption in Iran
Reza Sepah Vand, a member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) Energy Commission, highlighted various issues resulting from mismanagement, warning that the imbalance between natural gas production and consumption in Iran “is continuously increasing.”
On Thursday, October 24, in an interview with the ILNA news agency, Sepah Vand announced that “the pressure in the South Pars gas field has decreased, making gas extraction more difficult, and some resources have encountered problems.”
