Berlin Conference

Maryam Rajavi’s message: “Today, because of a brutal dictatorship, Iran is the epicenter of global insecurity. At the same time, because of a well-organized resistance to freedom and democracy, Iran is a real hope for peace and security in the world. This is the true face of Iran, which has made great contributions to human civilization, science, philosophy, art, and literature throughout history.

“Last October, on the day the Middle East war began, the Iranian Resistance declared that the head of the snake of warmongering in the region is the Iranian regime. This regime, which was on the verge of collapse after the 2022 uprising, turned to this foreign war to prevent another uprising and being overthrown by the Iranian people and the Iranian Resistance.”

It’s Still Possible to Avoid a Major War

The path to lasting peace in the Middle East runs through a popular regime change in Iran. After the October 7 attack, which triggered a war with thousands of casualties on both sides, the world now fears a major regional conflict. According to reports from The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard was deeply involved in planning the attacks. This raises a critical question: Why does Iran’s clerical regime play such a central role in this conflict?

For over 40 years, there has been a brutal and ongoing conflict between the Iranian people and the clerical regime. Amnesty International has documented cases of torture against children as young as 12, including electric shocks and sexual assault. The UN Special Rapporteur on Iran has accused the regime of genocide, specifically targeting opposition members affiliated with Iran’s democratic resistance movement, the NCRI.

Iranian Regime Leaders Try to Bolster Spirits of Their Forces against Mounting Internal and External Crises

On Thursday, October 25, state television aired remarks Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei made three weeks prior to a group of regime supporters. He expressed concern over the dangerous conditions currently facing the regime in the region, comparing it to the Iran-Iraq war. He stated: “Nearly 10,000 people from this province alone were martyred. Twice or three times that number were wounded. They did their duty back then. Now, we need these young people as much as we did during the war. Today, we need them!”

He added, “Back then, it was an obvious, visible war; today, it’s a hybrid war with physical, software, psychological, and weaponized aspects. The enemy’s plots are more complex, and this matters; just being present on the military battlefield and making missiles is no longer enough.”

Iran’s Coal Mining Industry: A Crisis of Safety and Accountability

Iran’s coal mining industry has been marred by a series of tragic accidents and a persistent disregard for safety standards, resulting in preventable loss of life. Despite these incidents, industry practices continue to endanger miners’ lives, while structural flaws in the oversight system allow safety violations to go unchecked. On August 14, 2009, the Ashkali Mine in Kerman Province witnessed a catastrophic collapse, entombing all miners within tunnel one. Rescue attempts were futile as hundreds of tons of soil and extreme heat proved fatal. Later, in May 2017, an explosion in the Yourt Azadshahr coal mine gained global attention, claiming the lives of 43 miners and injuring 70 others. Yet, Iran’s deadliest mining accident occurred on September 21, 2024, in the Tabas coal mine, where a gas explosion killed 52 miners and injured 20 more.

Threatening Hijab Texts Sent to Women in Isfahan

The New Hijab Bill

For several months, some women in Isfahan have been receiving anonymous warning messages regarding their hijab, Shargh Daily reported on October 25, 2024.

Sent under the name of the “Provincial Headquarters of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice,” these messages alert women about their hijab in public spaces. Despite already adhering to the hijab, some recipients report they were approached by “hijab monitors” who advised them to cover their hair fully in public transport, particularly on the metro. Ignoring this advice, they later received text messages indicating potential legal action for repeated “non-compliance.”

Iranian Regime’s Interference in U.S. Elections

Reuters reported that a hacker group affiliated with the Iranian regime, accused of hacking into Donald Trump’s campaign emails, has ultimately managed to facilitate the release of these stolen materials.

In recent weeks, hackers began widely distributing Trump campaign emails to a Democratic political activist, who published a collection of them on their committee’s website and forwarded them to independent journalists.

These emails include internal communications from Trump’s campaign with advisors and foreign allies, addressing various issues related to the 2024 election.

Following Israel’s attack, Iran’s security agencies halted currency exchanges in the market through various measures to prevent a sharp rise in exchange rates. Half of Iran’s Oil Revenue Goes to Brokers and Middlemen

Iran Regime’s VP: “Sharp Drop in Oil Revenue.” What Does This Mean for the Mullahs?

Before the imposition of strict U.S. sanctions in May 2011, Iran exported approximately three million barrels of oil daily. With the onset of the Obama administration’s sanctions, this figure dropped below one million barrels by February 2012. Following the implementation of the nuclear agreement in 2015, Iran’s oil exports rose to around three million barrels per day, but after Trump withdrew from the JCPOA, exports plummeted sharply, reaching only 190,000 barrels in winter 2019.

When Biden took office in 2020, Iran’s oil exports increased again, surpassing two million barrels per day by summer 2023. Concurrently, Biden’s policies to reduce sanction pressures helped Iran.
