Ernst Demands Action to Stop Iranian Crime on U.S. Soil

WASHINGTON – Following reports indicating Iran is paying criminal organizations to carry out violent plots—including assassinations—against their critics within the United States, Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) joined a bipartisan group of her colleagues in demanding the Department of Justice (DOJ) stop this criminal activity.

The Destruction of Iran’s Education System under The Mullahs’ Rule

iranian students

The start of the school year is considered a social transformation all over the world. Millions of families send their children off with hope and excitement, and children rush to school with eagerness to learn and experience a new world. Elementary and high schools, after months of silence and inactivity, come back to life with the joyful hustle of students, and life in the streets and neighborhoods takes on a different color with the presence of large numbers of students.

However, for years, under the rule of the mullahs, Iran has been unfamiliar with this image of joy and hope. Every year, the start of the school year is accompanied by the worries and sorrow of millions of Iranian families who are unable to cover their children’s educational expenses, and by the longing gazes of children who, due to poverty, are left out of school and education.

The Tabas Mine Disaster Resurfaces the Tragic Cost of Exploitation In Iran’s Mines

Once again, in a bitter tragedy, a number of impoverished workers in Iran lost their lives. This time, the disaster occurred in the Tabas coal mine, where more than 50 workers were killed in an underground explosion. At the time of the explosion, 70 workers were working deep underground, so it is expected that the death toll will rise as more bodies are retrieved. The main culprit behind this tragedy and the daily deaths of many workers in our country is the Iranian regime, which pays no attention to the lives of workers, viewing them merely as tools for exploitation. As a result, work-related fatalities continue to rise. According to the regime’s Forensic Organization, 2,115 people lost their lives in work-related accidents last year.

This follows a pattern of seasonal draining, but the complete desiccation now marks a tipping point.
