U.S. Airstrikes Hit Houthi Weapon Depots Across Yemen
The United States carried out a new wave of airstrikes targeting Houthi military sites across northern and western Yemen on Saturday, according to reports from Al Arabiya and Al Hadath.
The coordinated attacks struck weapons depots in multiple provinces, including Al-Bayda, Saada, Hodeidah, and Marib. In Al-Bayda, U.S. aircraft hit an arms cache reportedly hidden within a vocational training center. Additional strikes were launched against storage facilities in the Al-Salim area of Saada and positions in Al-Munirah district north of Hodeidah.
Three more strikes targeted a Houthi military camp in Mukayras, while nine separate strikes hit weapons stockpiles in the Sirwah region of northern Marib.
The strikes are part of an intensified U.S. air campaign launched in mid-March, following the Houthis’ announcement that they had resumed attacks on commercial shipping in the Red Sea. The Iran-backed group had previously paused its maritime operations for several months.
U.S. Central Command reiterated its stance on Saturday, stating that Washington “will not tolerate any entity supporting terrorist organizations like the Houthis,” underlining ongoing concerns about the security of global maritime routes.

PMOI Resistance Units in Zahedan: No to Shah, No to Mullahs
In a significant development underscoring the rising spirit of popular defiance, PMOI Resistance Units in the city of Zahedan carried out a series of bold actions, including the distribution of leaflets and the writing of anti-regime slogans across neighborhoods—despite the heavy security presence and the widespread surveillance infrastructure deployed by the Iranian regime’s Revolutionary Guard and Ministry of Intelligence.
These actions took place under suffocating repressive conditions, highlighting the courage of these units who have come to embody the conscience of the Iranian people yearning for fundamental change. The city walls were emblazoned with powerful slogans rejecting both religious tyranny and monarchic dictatorship, including the prominent message: “Neither Mullahs nor Shah — But Freedom and a Democratic Republic.”
Iran’s Deprived Retirees, A Force of Protests and Uprisings
In recent years, and especially over the past year, Iran’s retirees have taken to the streets to demand their rights. The streets of cities across Iran have repeatedly witnessed the large and persistent presence of retirees protesting their dire living conditions. This movement continues and is growing by the day. These honorable and hardworking people, who dedicated years of their lives and energy to service to the country, now in their old age and time of need, are facing enormous economic hardships, rampant inflation, and the neglect of the corrupt officials of the clerical regime. Their widespread protests, which initially had professional and livelihood-related themes, have now clearly shifted toward political demands. They see the root of their problems not only in the corrupt management of pension funds but also in the entirety of the regime’s plundering economic policies and its inherently corrupt structure.
Iran-U.S. Talks in Muscat: A Glimpse into Stalled Diplomacy and Tehran’s Strategic Deadlock
Today, representatives from Iran and the United States gathered in Muscat, the capital of Oman, for a new round of talks—a cautious effort to ease tensions and explore diplomatic solutions amid rising regional instability. Although the negotiations have not yet led to any tangible outcome, their very occurrence signals an ongoing attempt to prevent a broader conflict, especially as the war in Gaza, Houthi attacks in the Red Sea, and Iran’s regional activities continue to escalate.
Oman, which has long served as a discreet mediator between Tehran and Washington, hosted the closed-door talks. However, the context surrounding the meeting was highly charged. The negotiations took place just as Donald Trump issued a statement declaring that Iran must never be allowed to possess nuclear energy, while Tehran remains adamant about asserting its demands.
As Nuclear Talks Resume, Pressure Mounts to Trigger UN Sanctions on Iranian Regime
As direct talks resume today between the United States and the Iranian regime over Tehran’s controversial nuclear program, European powers are weighing a consequential step: activating the so-called “snapback mechanism” to reimpose United Nations sanctions on the regime.
With the 2015 nuclear deal—the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)—set to expire in October 2025, Britain, France, and Germany are considering this move as a last-ditch effort to address growing concerns about Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Since the early revelations of the Iranian regime’s clandestine nuclear activities, many in the international community have suspected that Tehran is seeking to develop nuclear weapons.
Parvin Ghadyani, Christian Convert, Continued Detention in Kachouii Prison
Parvin Ghadyani, a Christian convert, has been held in detention for over three months and remains in a state of legal uncertainty at Kachouii Prison in Karaj. Parvin Ghadyani’s arrest took place in early January of last year, carried out by security forces. After undergoing a period of interrogation at a security detention facility in Karaj, she was transferred to Kachouii Prison.
The reason cited for her arrest was her involvement in promoting Christianity. Although Christianity is officially recognized as a minority religion under the Constitution of the Iranian regime, Iranian security agencies treat the conversion of Muslims to Christianity with particular sensitivity and often respond with harsh and punitive measures.

He had been arrested on March 13, 2025, during a shooting by officers from the Fahreh border post targeting fuel carriers. At the time of his arrest, Issa was crossing the border area with several mules and donkeys carrying fuel when the forces opened fire. Four of the animals were killed, but Issa was reportedly arrested alive. Witnesses stated that his personal belongings, including a flashlight and a wooden stick, were left behind at the scene.
Issa’s family confirmed that border officers initially acknowledged his arrest in the first two days. However, from the third day onward, they ceased providing information and began denying any knowledge of his detention.

Political Prisoner Mohammad Boroghani Denied Medical Furlough Despite Alarming Health Condition
Mohammad Boroghani, a political prisoner and one of those arrested during the nationwide protests of 2022 in Iran, has been denied medical furlough despite his deteriorating health condition. According to sources close to his family, his treatment has been interrupted midway, and although prison doctors have emphasized the necessity of continuing medical care, judicial and security authorities continue to block his access to medical leave.
Boroghani has not been granted a single day of furlough for several months. His family’s repeated attempts to seek answers have been met with silence and inaction from the authorities. A source stated, “Our concern grows every day. We don’t understand why such a basic and humane right is being denied. This negligence is endangering his health.”
Initially arrested during the 2022 protests, Boroghani was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Abolghasem Salavati on charges of moharebeh (enmity against God), based on his alleged participation in street protests in Pakdasht. However, upon appeal, the Supreme Court overturned the death sentence and reduced it to five years in prison and ten years of exile in Na’in, Isfahan Province.
